Dialling and transmission

Once you have loaded the document and made any desired transmission settings, you
are ready to dial the number of the receiving fax machine and transmit the document.
There are several ways of dialling, and you can select the one which best suits your
needs.

Normal Dialling

With Normal Dialling, you pick up the handset (or press the SPEAKER key) and dial
as you would to make a telephone call. If the receiving machine is set to receive faxes
manually (this means that the receiving party first answers your call vocally, and then
presses their Start key to begin fax reception), you can talk with them before sending
the fax.

Pick up the handset or press the
SPEAKER key. Listen for the dial tone.

Dial the number of the receiving
machine by pressing the number keys.
