1. DAILY INSPECTION

Power switch ON/OFF status

.

We recommend turning the power switch ON
at startup every morning so that copies can
be made whenever you want. Also, make
sure that you turn the power switch OFF when
you leave the office.

Note: This is not required if you use the weekly

timer.

Items to inspect once a week

Items to inspect every morning

Cleaning the glass and transport belt

.

Clean the original glass of the copier with a
dry cloth or a cloth moistened with alcohol
when they become dirty.

.

If the original transport belt of the automatic
document feeder is dirty, clean it with alcohol
or with a cloth moistened with water and
wrung, then wipe it off with a dry cloth.

Cleaning covers

.

Clean dirty covers on the copier with a cloth
moistened with a neutral detergent. Then,
wipe off the detergent completely with a dry
cloth.

Note: Before cleaning the copier, make sure

that the POWER switch is turned OFF.
