Contents/Precautions
z You can use the handset at a poolside. Do not throw water in a
swimming pool on the handset or soak the handset in the water
of a swimming pool.
z You can use the handset in a bathroom.
y
Do not let the handset get wet with liquids other than water at
room temperature (hot spring water or water containing soap,
detergent or bath powder) or do not soak the handset in a
bathtub.
May cause a malfunction. If the handset gets wet with liquids other
than water at room temperature or you fall the handset into the
bathtub, immediately rinse it in the specific procedure.
y
Use the handset within 2 hours in a bathroom where the range
of a temperature is between 5° C and 40° C and a humidity is
99% or less.
All function's continuous operations are not completely guaranteed.

If the handset gets wet, be sure to drain water and dry naturally
in the specific procedure (

handset gets wet”).
Also, drain water after using the handset in a bathroom or when
condensation occurs inside the camera lens.
y The rapid changes of temperature may cause condensation.
Wait until the handset reaches room temperature before you bring it
from a cold place into a warm place such as a bathroom.
Also, do not splash cold water on the warmed handset in a
bathroom.
May cause a malfunction.
y Never charge the battery in a bathroom.
y The signal does not reach and a call or data communication
may not be available depending on the structure and
conditions of the bathroom.
y When you operate the handset with wet hands, it may not
respond or inadvertent operations may occur.
y Do not use the handset connected to the headset or external
connector device in a bathroom.
Things to keep in mind
To maintain waterproof/dustproof performance, check the
followings.
z Securely close the nanoSIM/microSD Tray. Be careful not to
apply excessive force on the rubber gasket when opening and
closing.
z Make sure that the nanoSIM/microSD Tray is completely closed
without floating.
z
To maintain waterproof/dustproof performance, the handset has
the nanoSIM/microSD Tray that allows you to close securely.
Note that opening it forcibly may cause injuries to your nails,
fingers, etc.
z To maintain waterproof/dustproof performance, replacement of
parts is recommended every 2 years regardless of whether
the handset appears normal or abnormal. SHARP replaces
the parts as a chargeable service. For replacement of parts,
contact the support phone number listed on the Warranty
Card.
