NO Select INPUT 3 on the input select menu screen to pick up the
right input signal.
YES
Are there the following signal inputs at the input terminals of
IC3401 (AV SWITCH)? NO <Video signal>
Check the line between pin (6) of J143 and pin (1) of IC3401.
<Video signal> Is there the video signal input at pin (1)? <S-video signal>
Check the line between J141 and pins (3)/(5) of IC3401.

Are there the Y and C signal inputs at pins (3) and (5), respec-
tively?
YES
<Video signal> Is there the video signal output at pin (37) of
IC3401? NO Check IC3401 and its peripheral circuits.
<S-video signal> Are there the Y and C signal outputs at pins
(39) and (41) of IC3401, respectively?
YES
<Video signal> Is there the video signal input at U2 pin of IC801? NO <Video signal> Check Q3404 and its peripheral circuits.
<S-video signal> Are there the Y and C signal inputs at P1 pin
and K1 pin of IC801, respectively? <S-video signal> Check Q3407 and its peripheral circuits for the
C signal, and Q3408 and its peripheral circuits for the Y signal.
YES
Are signals output from the pins P22, P23, R22, R23, T22, T23,
U22, U23, V22, and V23 of IC801 normally? NO Check IC801 and its peripheral circuits.
YES
Check LCD controller (incl. panel) and their peripheral circuits.
