BEFORE COMMISSIONING THE MACHINE
CAUTION: Place the generator is off to a solid, level surface off the fuel supply and disconnected
spark plug wire.
Visual inspection will assess the condition of the generator. Nowhere to hang unconnected cables.
Otherwise, immediately contact service center Sharks.
Check the fuel system and connections (leaks) tubing.
Checking the oil
WARNING: Operation of the engine generator with insufficient or, conversely, excessive amounts of
oil can cause serious engine damage without any claim for warranty repairs!
Check the oil level on a flat surface and with the engine off before every start!
The generator is equipped with an oil sensor, however:
• Oil sensor only engine stop sudden release of a drop in oil level.
• Oil sensor entitle operators to ignore checking the oil level before each use.
• Oil sensor must not be disconnected or dismantled!
Recommended oil
We recommend using only high quality oil established brands in the original packaging that complies
with the quality grade API min. SH-SG/CD respectively. It is higher. Quality grade oils are labeled on
the packaging.
SAE 10W - 30 is generally recommended for use in high temperatures. Other viscosities may be used
if the average temperature in your area moves to a different extent.
Sometimes you may notice a slight "knocking" or "ringing" (metallic knocking sound) when the device
is highly loaded. This is not cause for concern.
If this knocking occurs at a uniform engine speed under normal load, change the brand of gasoline. If
this knock persists, contact your dealer or service Sharks.
Oil filling
1. Make sure that the generator is on firm and level surface with engine, fuel supply and disconnected
spark plug wire.
2. Remove the oil filler cap.
Top third, using a funnel to pour the oil tank up to 1.1 liters of oil (the volume of the empty oil tank).
When filling, make sure that the oil spilling out of the filling hole. If this happens, wipe up spilled oil and
the engine and its surroundings clean dry!
4th dipstick, wipe dry and re-insert into the filler neck and only then insert the stop, do not screw. Then
pull it out and if you have the oil on the dipstick between the "min. and max. "everything is fine. Do not
overfill above the max. Mark with volume! At low oil level Add oil to the required level.
Recommendation: Do not mix oil with different SAE and class.
WARNING: It is forbidden to use oils without detergent ingredients and oils for two-stroke engines!
Refuelling
NOTICE:
• Gasoline is highly flammable and very explosive.
• When refueling, do not smoke!
• Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off.
• Check the fuel level gauge help fuel tank.
• Remove the fuel tank cap and visually check the fuel level in the tank.
• If it is necessary to refuel using a funnel. Do not overfill the tank in excess of the max. Capacity.
• After refueling, replace the fuel cap and tighten.
CAUTION: Before every starting, make sure the fuel valve is in the ON position (fuel flows from the
tank to the carburetor). After stopping the engine, make sure the valve lever is in the OFF position.
