The pressure switch is bled via the three-way valve (with the pump running), and the pressure
gauge is connected to the suction line. The interstitial space remains separated. Now, the
maximum pump suction head can be checked. It must be > 580 mbar.
In the case of the operation unit VL-H9/ME-MV-..., the starting switch must be in the starting
position.

For carrying out the leak test, the pressure gauge is connected to the testing socket of the
measuring line. If the vacuum pump is running, wait until it switches off.

During 20 minutes,
the pressure should not significantly increase. Any leakage detected must be rectified, and the
test must be repeated.
