4.2 Control element

Start/Stop button (H.5)

– brewing process is started by pressing this button

– prewing process is terminated by pressing the button again

– in case of an error/fault, problem solving function is activated by

pressing the button

– by pressing and holding the button for at least 3 seconds with the

strainer support inserted, the "storage settings" mode is activated, see
section "3. Preparation of beverages"

– by pressing and holding the button for at least 3 seconds with the

strainer support not inserted, the "descaling" mode is activated, see
section "5.
