Installation (as stand / mast luminaire)
ATTENTION!
The
ALDEBARAN
®
360 GRAD FLEX-C 2.0
requires
room / ambient air for proper operation. The luminaire
has to be installed free-standing with at least 0.5 m
space to all sides.
The luminaire can be operated on several mast / stand
systems. Therefore, a mast support is available at
the luminaire. The support is suitable for a DIN bolt
(d = 30 mm).
ATTENTION!
Make sure that the tripod / mast system is designed
for the weight of the lamp. For safe operation, the
instructions of the tripod / mast system must be
observed.
WARNING! Risk of injury!
Implicitly fix the luminaire with the star grip after
putting it on your mast / stand system. That way,
you avoid accidents.
WARNING! Tripping hazard!
Lay the cables in a way that no trip hazards occur
and that they are safe from mechanical damages
like tearing off or running over. If necessary, fix the
cables with adhesive tape or cable ties.
WARNING! Risk of injury!
When using a tripod or mast, make sure that it is
sufficiently stable. It is important to make sure that it
is a level footprint. Inclinations are to be avoided.
Adjustment of the modules
The
ALDEBARAN
®
360 GRAD FLEX-C 2.0
luminaire has
four single light modules that can be adjusted via me-
chanics for the requirements of the work place.
Therefore, the modules can be adjusted to the re-
quired position between 0 and approx. 90° of inclina-
tion after unlocking.
1. Unlocking of the modules
Before you can adjust the inclination of the luminaire
(8-fold latching), the magnetically locked modules
must be unlocked. To do this, grasp each individual
light module with both hands at the side and pull
it towards your body.
2. Adjusting the luminaire’s inclination
In order to adjust the lamp to the right inclination
(8-fold screening), pull the lower detent pin and
move the base plate upwards until the required
inclination of the modules is achieved. For fixing
of the adjusted position, the detent pin has to lock
into the default hole.
