Safety information
This quality light was built according to the rules of
technology. The light was built, tested and delivered
in proper condition. To maintain this condition and
to ensure safe operation, the user must follow the in-
structions and warnings of the operating instructions.
If it is to assume that safe operation is no longer possible,
the lamp must be taken out of service.
It is to assume that a safe operation is not
possible
• if the illuminant shows visible damage
• if the illuminant is no longer working properly
• after prolonged storage under inconvenient
conditions
• after extreme transport damage
In these cases, the luminaire must be sent in for repair.
Repairs to the luminaire must be carried out only by
the manufacturer, his customer service department or
a qualified electrician. A qualified electrician has the
professional training, knowledge and experience, as
well as knowledge of the pertinent standards, to assess
the work they are required to carry out and recognize
possible hazards. Warranty repairs are carried out only
by the manufacturer.
ATTENTION!
The light source of this luminaire may only be re-
placed by the manufacturer or a service technician
appointed by him or a similarly qualified person.
Field of application
ALDEBARAN
®
luminaires are applicable as indoor
lighting and, depending on the model and product,
also as outdoor lighting for industry, crafts, workshops,
tents, rescue services, energy suppliers, rail and road
transport etc.

luminaires are developed
to offer you optimal illumination directly at the work-
place.
Aggregate operation
The electrical connection of your product is intended for
the mains. If you want to operate the product in a power
outage with an aggregate / emergency generator, its
technical values (frequency, voltage, grounding) have to
match with the ones of the mains and meet at least the
power input of your device. Here, occurring inrush currents
have to be considered. For the use of our luminaire at a
generator, a synchronous generator is to be used.
Recommended generator power: at least 3 KW
ATTENTION!
Please consider the operation instructions of the genera-
tor for this and / or ask a qualified electrician.
Commissioning
The
ALDEBARAN
®
360 GRAD FLEX-C 2.0
is only to
be connected to alternating current (AC) – with voltage
according to type plate – to a properly installed socket
with protective earth contact. Please make sure that your
installation meets the relevant national guidelines.
If you have any questions concerning this, please refer
to your energy supplier or your qualified electrician. Of
course we are also available for your questions.
ATTENTION!
When the luminaire is operated with other connector
systems (not Schuko
®
), the voltage according to the
type plate is to be considered.
WARNING! Tripping hazard!
Lay the cables in a way that no trip hazards occur
and that they are safe from mechanical damages
like tearing off or running over. If necessary, fix the
cables with adhesive tape or cable ties.

Make sure that the luminaire is set up and fixed
safely before use.
• Before use of the luminaire, the protective foil
on the front screen is to be removed.
