10.1Sensor Maintenance
Servomex analyzers require no routine maintenance other than the occasional
addition of Servomex Hummingbird Brand Replenishment Solution to the
sensor.
Exposure to dry gas samples will gradually extract liquid from the sensor.
Under these conditions, the frequency of solution additions will be slightly
higher. Typically, a very dry gas can reduce the liquid level by 10 to 20 ml per
month. Quarterly additions of Replenishment Solution are typical.
It is good practice to check the sensor level every 1 to 2 months initially to
determine the rate at which the electrolyte level in the sensor is dropping based
on your application.
NOTE
If the electrolyte is low, add Hummingbird Brand Replenishment
Solution.
Do not add electrolyte solution! Do not overfill.
10.1.1 Restoring electrolyte level
1. Open the front door.
2. Remove the lid from the sensor tank.
3. Using the bottle included with the analyzer, gently add Hummingbird
Brand Replenishment Solution to raise the electrolyte level to the “max”
mark.
Do not over fill. Do not add electrolyte .
4. Re-install the lid securely.
