G Sensor Settings Menu
The TX8 DVR is able to display inertia G Sensor information. When vehicle movement exceeds
thresholds, they are recorded in the DVR event log. If required, the events can trigger signals or alarms.
Each bus yard or transportation facility has different requirements for G Sensor sensitivity settings. Seon
has found the following settings work in most cases:
• X – Forward/Back axis, leave at d0.4/-0.4.
• Y – Left/Right axis, leave at d0.4/-0.4.
• Z – Vertical axis, set to +2/-2.
• Vector – Combination of Z and Y axes, leave at d0.4/-0.4.
These settings can be adjusted to fit specific requirements. The lower the settings, the higher the chances
are of generating false alarms.
