RECOMMENDED SOLUTION
Transmission not
received in zone
Transmitter bad
Test transmitter using
Senstar
tester.
Test transmitter in another
zone.
Test with another known
good transmitter
System malfunction
Run self-test. If defect is
printed proceed with fur-
ther system tests below.
The following tests are applicable after self-test has been run and has
failed in one or more zones
Self-test failure
in one zone
Defective PARC-3
Verify whether just one or
all four zones. All four zones
failed is probably a PARC-3
failure.
Defective receiver
At the PARC-3, swap the zone
receiver connectors coming
from the PARs. If the def-
ective zone moves, replace
the PAR.
If the defective zone does
not move, replace the PARC-3
card and retest.
Defective cables or
connections
Examine cables and conn-
ections at each suspected
unit. Tighten screw ter-
minals.
