I. Outdoor Antenna
NOTE:
Installation of the outdoor antenna is very
important for communication range and
quality. Be sure to follow the following steps.
1. Use the wrench to screw the antenna
tightly.
2. Lock the 6 ground planes with the base
part as illustrated in Figure 2.
Long and short ground planes
should be alternately arranged.

A large number of your handset's options are accessed by using smart
switch which is specially designed to allow you operate this handset with
one thumb only. The access uses a common approach for selection,
change and cancellation. Please read this section carefully before
attempting to access smart switch. When you understand the common
approach to menu navigation and how the options are shown, you will be
able to access and change options with ease. The menu described here
can be started accessing when the handset is in the standby mode.
You can either scroll or press smart switch to access the menu.
Once enter the menu, you can use smart switch to access and select
options.
To leave any one of the menus you can press CLR once. Either press
and hold CLR key or press END key, it will return your phone to the
stand-by mode.
A menu is a simple list of options. Some of options provide access to a
further list of options called a sub-menu. When navigation through the
menus you may find it helpful to think in terms of menu levels-the "present"
menu being on one level and its sub-menus being on a lower level.
To move from one option to another on the same level, use smart switch
to scroll upwards or downwards. When you find the option you want, press
smart switch to select it.
Depending on the option you select, one of two things will happen:
either a brief message will be displayed confirming an action, for
example OK
or the first and second option of a sub-menu will be displayed. You
can select this option pressing smart switch or browse through the
other options by scrolling the smart switch.
