Symptom 6: Space heating capacity shortage at low outdoor temperatures
Possible causes Corrective action
Backup heater operation is not
activated.
Check the backup heater is turned ‘on’.
Check whether or not the thermal protector of the backup
heater has been activated.
Check whether or not the thermal fuse of the backup heater
is blown.
Too much heat pump capacity is used
for heating domestic hot water (applies
only to installations with a domestic hot
water tank).
Check that the 'space heating priority temperature' field
settings are configured appropriately:
• Make sure that the space heating priority is enabled
Error codes
When a safety device is activated, the user interface LED will be flashing, and an error code will be
displayed.
A list of all errors can be found in the table below.

E0 HE outlet sensor failure
E1 Water tank temp sensor failure
E2 HE inlet sensor failure
E3 Water outlet sensor failure
E4 Outdoor heat exchanger sensor failure
E5 Outdoor ambient temp sensor failure
E6 TH temp sensor failure
E7 TL temp sensor failure
E8 Indoor ambient temp sensor failure
E9 T2 temp sensor failure
Ea Communication failure between indoor and controller
Eb Communication failure between indoor and outdoor
Ec Indoor EEPROM failure
Ed Controller clock IC failure
EE Controller EEPROM failure
P0 High pressure protection
P1 Low pressure protection
P2 Wrong phase sequence protection
P3 Absence phases protection
P4 Water flow switch failure
P5 Plate heat exchanger too low temp. protection
** After E failure, renew the safety by turning the unit ‘OFF’ and back ‘ON’. And P failure will renew automatically
if the failure is eliminated.
*** In case this procedure for resetting the safety is not successful, contact your local dealer.
