Step 4: Attach Triangle Plates

If you have purchased a Meadowside refer to fig. 4.2. Otherwise, refer to fig. 4.3

.

Attach 1 Triangle Plate to the Fort side of both (A1) SW Beam using 1 (G1) 5/16 x 1-1/2” Hex Bolt (with

lock washer, flat washer and t-nut) in the hole indicated in fig. 4.2 & 4.3.

Correct Triangle placement and hole usage is very important.

Attach 1 (H7) 1/4 x 5-1/2” Hex Bolt (with lock washer, flat washer and t-nut) to the ends of both (A1)

SW Beam. The bolts do not attach to anything, but

MUST

be installed to prevent splitting and checking of

wood. (fig.4.2 & 4.3)
