Step 4: Attach Triangle Plates

Part 1

A:

Place Monkey Swing Rail Assembly on the ground with the Bolt-Thru. Swing Hangers facing up. (fig. 4.1)

B:

Attach 1 Triangle Plate to the End Ladder side of both (A1) SW Beam, in the places shown in fig. 4.1, using

1 (G1) 5/16 x 1-1/2” Hex Bolt (with lock washer, flat washer and t-nut) in the hole indicated in fig. 4.1.

Correct

Triangle placement and hole usage is very important.

C:

Attach 1 (H7) 1/4 x 5-1/2” Hex Bolt (with lock washer, flat washer and t-nut) to the ends of both (A1) SW

Beams. The bolts do not attach to anything, but

MUST

be installed to prevent splitting and checking of wood.
