Connection for TIG welding
- Connect (3) the earth clamp to the positive socket (+) (4)
ofthe power source.
- Connect the TIG torch coupling (1) to the torch socket (2)
ofthe power source.
- Separately connect the torch gas (5) hose connector to the gas
main (Genesis 3000 PMC/SMC).
The protection gas flow can be adjusted using
the tap normally found on the torch (Genesis
3000 PMC/SMC).
- Connect the gas hose from the cylinder to the rear gas con-
nection (Genesis 3000 MTE).
- Connect the signal cable (6) of the torch to the appropriate
connector (7) (Genesis 3000 MTE).
- Connect the gas hose (8) of the torch to the appropriate
union/connection (9) (Genesis 3000 MTE).
Connection for MIG/MAG welding
1) Semi-automatic system
- Connect the MIG torch to the central adapter (1), ensuring
that the fastening ring is fully tightened.
- Open the right side cover.
- Check that the roller groove is consistent with the diameter of
the wire you wish to use.
- Unscrew the ring nut (2) from the spindle and insert the wire
spool.
Insert also the spool pin, insert the spool, reposition the ring
nut (2) and adjust the friction screw (3).
- Release the rolls lever of the wire feeder (4), sliding the end
of the wire into the wire guide bush and, passing it over the
roller, into the torch fitting. Lock the feed support in position,
checking that the wire has entered the roller groove.
- To load the wire onto the torch, press the wire feed push-button.
- Connect the gas hose to the rear gas hose coupling.
- Adjust the gas flow from 10 to 20 l/min.
