2.2.3 Pedal remote control RC12 for MMA and TIG
welding (Fig. 7)
It can be installed on generators
provided with front panel FP140 or
FP142.
Once the generator has been swit-
ched to the "EXTERNAL CON-
TROL" mode, the output current is
varied from a minimum to a maxi-
mum value (which can be set
through SETUP with FP140 and
through remote control with FP142) by va-rying the
inclination of the foot resting surface with respect to the pedal
base.
The pedal control also features the torch button.
2.2.4 Remote control RC07 for MIG/MAG welding
(Fig. 8)
It can be installed on the wire fee-
der WF104.
It is provided with two knobs that
make it possible to remotely adjust
the wire speed and the welding arc
length. The upper knob varies the
wire speed from the minimum
value "1" to the maximum value
"10".
The other knob scale is 5-0-5:
- "0" corresponds to the recommended arc length;
- "5" on the left corresponds to a very short arc;
- "5" on the right corresponds to a very long arc.
The actual value set is displayed on the remote control chosen
(RC08, RC10/14 or personal computer display).
2.3 Technical specifications
Data at 40°C ambient temperature
Dimensions and mass
In the TLH version, D=A and the weight of the WF104 which
is not present must be subtracted from the total weight.
3.0 TRANSPORT - UNLOADING
Never underestimate the weight of the equipment,
(see technical specifications).
Never make the cargo pass or leave it suspended
over people or things.
Neither let the equipment or the single unit fall,
nor put it down with force.
Once it has been removed from the packing, the
power source is supplied with an extendible belt
which can be used to move it in the hand or on the
shoulder.
4.0 INSTALLATION
Choose an adequate installation area by following
the criteria provided in Section "1.0 WARNING" .
Do not position the power source and the equipment
on surfaces with inclination exceeding 10° with respect
to the horizontal plane.
Protect the installation from heavy rain and sun.
Do not use the power source to thaw pipes.
