7.4 2D-Barcode Font
A 2D-barcode font is a special font that allows you to print 2D-barcodes by only specifying the
font without generating 2D-barcode images on the application side.
You should register the type and size of the 2D-barcode in [Printing Preferences] before
using a 2D-barcode font. You can register up to five types of barcode font (IPD 2D-Barcode1
to IPD 2D-Barcode5) in the printer driver. For the registration method, see "3.5.6 Displaying
[2D-Barcode Font Settings] Window".

In environment other than Japanese, set the [Character Set] (Font Script) to
"Western".
In Japanese environment, set the [Character Set] (Font Script) to "Japanese".
When you specify the rotation of the 2D-barcode, set the print speed to low. If the print
speed is high, the print quality of the 2D-barcode may be degraded. For details of the
print speed setting, see "3.4.5
Displaying [General Settings] Window
".
When a 2D-barcode becomes wider than the print width due to the 2D-barcode
setting or data setting, it cannot be printed correctly.
