In case of a short circuit an energizing follows with sub-
sequent tripping of the protection relay. The circuit
breaker is switched off and the short circuit is cleared.

the reclosing command to the circuit breaker.
If the fault still exists the protection relay trips again and
the above mentioned procedure is repeated as long un-
til either the fault was removed (here after the second
reclosing) or the number of the set SHOTs is reached.
