SCREENSAVER
The screensaver option lets you set how long the LCD will stay on for before activating the
screensaver (black screen). Pleases keep in mind that while in screensaver mode (blank screen),
pressing any button on the camera will wake it up and bring up the live view. To make changes
to this feature, use the up/down buttons until back light is highlighted and press the ok button
to display the options available. Then use the up/down buttons to highlight the desired setting
and press the ok button to make and save your selection. The available options:
• 30 Seconds (default)
• 3 Minutes
• 5 Minutes
• Off (disables screen saver and keeps the LCD screen on)
NOTE: Some states require that the screen remain “off” while recording to prevent the driver
from getting distracted while driving.
FORMAT
The format option cleans the memory card by removing previously existing data and information
on the memory card. To format your card, use the up/down buttons until format is highlighted and
press the ok button to display the options available. Then use the up/down buttons to highlight
the desired setting and press the ok button to make and save your selection. The available options:
• SD Card
• Cancel
• Ok
NOTE: Formatting should only be used when using a used memory card or in the event that the
card becomes corrupted.
