If the connected PTZ camera is not on the list of supported drivers, select the corresponding UART interface and
open the drivers list to select the user-defined camera type. For further configuration, click

The serial
must be set according to the specifications in the instructions for the camera. The
of the serial port can be up to 115200 Bps. Now enter a command for PTZ in the respective
field. Enter the user-defined command for the in ASCII format. The video server converts the
format in the ASCII command to binary format. For example, “012000ABCD” from the COM port is sent as five
hexadecimal bytes: 01, 20, 00 AB and CD. If the command string consists of two or more commands, separate
them with a comma (,). Each comma stands for 200 milliseconds. For example, a command for panning to the left
could be “01000305”, and a command for stopping the pan could be “01000300”. You then enter the command
as “01000305, 01000300” in the Move left field. That means that the camera moves left for 200 milliseconds.
After making the setting, click to accept the command and to exit the Custom Camera window.
