The detector reacts to other types of fire as follows:



The baseline fire refers to n-heptane 1ft

(0.1m

) and is defined as

100% sensitivity.



For fuel fire – standard pan fire size: 1 ft

(0.1 m

For gas flame - 20 inch (0.5m) high, 8 inch (0.2m) width plume fire.


