3.3.  FOLDING/UNFOLDING THE DEVICE

The device can be folded and unfolded easily thanks to the release lever 

(9) 

and the folding/unfolding safety latch

. You should always perform this 

operation with care in order to avoid getting pinched or jammed.

Unfolding
1.

 Place the device in front of you in a horizontal position.

2. 

Start unfolding the product by pulling and turning the catch 

(15)

.

3. 

Lift the scooter frame by about 90 degrees until you hear a soft click.

4. 

Lift and lock the release lever 

(9)

 until it fully engages the hinge and then 

push the safety catch 

(15).

5.

 If the device is equipped with fold-away handles, set them up by pulling 

them apart. If not, the handles are already set up in the correct position.

6. 

The process is complete.

Folding
1. 

Place the device in front of you in a horizontal position.

2.

 If the device is equipped with folding handles, fold them away to the sides 

if needed.

3. 

Pull and turn the safety catch

4. 

Unlock the device by lowering the lever 

(9)

.

5. 

Lower the scooter frame by 90 degrees until you hear a soft click.

6.

 Push the safety catch 

(15).

 

7. 

The process is complete.

The device is equipped with a double safety system:

1. 

Locked position. The device cannot be folded. Pull the catch to unlock.

2.

 Unlocked position. The device can be folded away. Pull and turn the safety 

catch in order to fold the device away. Push the safety catch to lock it.
