To scan available wireless networks in your location
1. Click
the
Survey
button on the bottom of the Site Survey page. A
Site
Scanning
window appears.
2. The utility displays the available wireless networks in the
Site Survey
table.
To connect to an available wireless network with a known SSID and disabled encryption
1. From the Site Survey table, identify the wireless network you intend to join.
Note:
Take note of the icon preceding the wireless network for easy
identification. See the icon table on page 21 for detailed icon descriptions.
2. Click the down arrow at the
Select a Site to join
field
to select the
number of the wireless network you intend to join, and then click the
Join
button.
A message appears in the browser indicating that you have successfully
joined the wireless network.
