Calibrating GPSteer | Page 57

Part Number: 875-0139-000

1. Set the Flow Rate

Set the flow rate at the mid-point by turning the Needle
Valve on the GPSteer Valve Block 2 turns (about 4 com-
plete turns will open or close the valve). Make sure the
locking nut is loose before turning the valve.

Tip!

To turn the needle valve, use a 3/16” Allen wrench.

b. Turn on GPSteer and drive the vehicle for 5 minutes to

allow your engine oil to warm up.

c. Select

System > Steering Setup Menu > Manual Turn:

access the manual turn rate function on the controller.

d. Press

to turn on

mode. Notice

that the field will say “Straight” in manual turn mode.

e. Drive your vehicle in a straight line for a minimum of 500

feet (maximum of 1/4 mile) and observe how the vehicle
behaves on the line.
