1.

  Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen and remove the hardware 

that attaches the Brake Cover to the Main Frame. Set the Brake 
cover and hardware safely aside for reassembly.

 NOTICE:

   Hold the Brake Cover so that it does not fall. 

2.

   Loosen the Resistance Knob (A) to the minimum resistance 

setting.

3.

  Loosen and remove the hardware that attaches the Brake Pad 

(B) to the Brake Assembly (C).

4.

  Slide the Brake Pad (B) out of the Brake Assembly (C).

   

Disconnect the data cable from the console before you service this machine.
