1. Pull the Handle to extend the Pull Strap for access to the space (securi-
ty loop) between the stitching on the strap.
2. Slide a small rod into the security loop to prevent the Pull Strap from
retracting into the Rower Engine.
Do not allow the pull strap to retract by itself. Allow

ing the pull strap to snap back in an uncontrolled
manner could cause damage to the rower engine or
injury to the user or bystanders.
3. Remove the Handle from the Pull Strap. Set it safely aside.
4. Push the replacement Handle through the end loop in the Pull Strap,
and remove the rod from the security loop.
5. Inspect your machine to ensure that all hardware is tight and
components are properly assembled.
Do not use until the machine has been fully assembled and
inspected for correct performance in accordance with the
Owner’s Manual.
