In very strong winds, remove Reflector Dome, turn off the heater, turn off the gas cylinder valve.
Al low the heater to cool down before moving it to a sheltered location.
DO NOT
move the heater while it is hot
TO TURN OFF
1. Turn control knob fully clockwise
2. Close gas valve on cylinder by turning fully
clockwise.
7. OPERATION AND LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Open cylinder valve.
2 Turn control knob fully to the right. Then turn it back toward the left 1/4 turn. (one quarter turn)
3. Fully depress control knob to allow gas flow to the burner, keeping this knob depressed while
repeatedly pressing the “Piezo” igniter button until the burner lights.
If the burner does not light up after 10 seconds, release the control knob and turn clockwise
to shut off the heater completely.....
Wait 5 Minutes.
If the igniter is defective you may light the burner manually by inserting a match through the
opening at the burner.
4. Once the burner is lit, hold the depressed knob for a further 20 seconds, then release it and the
burner should remain lit. If not, repeat steps 2 to 4 or check Troubleshooting chart on page 13.
5. If burner remains lit, turn the control knob to adjust flame, and set desired heat intensity.
