Risk of injury from dust formation during milling
work!
The machine must always be operated with a
dust extraction system with a corresponding
filter!
Respiratory protection must be used!
Risk of injury due to high temperature on motor,
drive elements and milling rotor! These parts
may still be hot after operation.
3.1 Starting up the machine
Observe the safety instructions in Chapter 2.
The machine may only be started up by quali
fied personnel.
A visual inspection of the machine must be car
ried out before starting up the machine.
Particular attention should be paid to damaged
or loose components, and wear.
1.
Disconnect mains [13, Fig. A/C].
Drive motor and the milling rotor are at a stand
still.
2.
Check milling rotor and milling discs for function
and condition and replace if necessary.
3.
Remove any protruding objects from the surface
to be milled.
4.
Attach external dust extraction at the connection
to the dust extraction [12, Fig. D].
The machine is ready for operation.
3.2 Correct working position
1.
Undo the locking device [1, Fig. B/D] from the
control handle [2, Fig. B].
2.
Adjust the working position [Fig. B].
3.
Lock the control handle [2, Fig.B].
3.3 Floor milling
Only start the machine when the control handle
is locked!
The operator must always be able to control and
steer the machine!
The control handle [2] may not be released du
ring operation. All operating elements must al
ways be within reach.
The machine is ready for operation.

Insert the mains plug..

Do not lay power cable in intended work direc
tion.
3.
Unwind the cable completely from the drum.
The machine can be lifted by the handles
[4, Fig. A/C] and be freely moved and steered
manually on the transport wheels.
4.
Roll the machine until the milling rotor is posi
tioned over the surface to be milled.
5.
Adjust the milling depth by turning the adjusting
screw [11, Fig. D]
6.
Switch on.
Only switch the machine on when the milling
rotor [14, Fig.E] is raised!
Risk of injury from rotating milling rotor and lo
wering machine!
Make sure that no one can enter the machine’s
danger zone during operation.
Proceed with the greatest care and caution!
As soon as the machine is switched on or
started, the milling rotor starts turning!
