Programming the Receiver
Select Channel number to be programmed.
Press „SET" key to get into set mode.
LNB input and Satellite Selection
Use „+/-“ key to select between satellites. See notes below.
Corresponding DiSEqC are generated at each key pressing.
Polarity and 22KHz Tone Switch selection
Use „LNB“ key to select for 4 kinds of polarity and 22KHz tone switching.
Corresponding DiSEqC are generated at each key pressing.
The established signalling method of 13/17VDC and 22KHz Tone are co-existed
with DiSEqC in this receiver. Therefore, you can use either DiSEqC, or 14/18VDC
signalling method, involuntarily.
No DiSEqC ON/OFF operation are required
Use of DiSEqC 1.0 switch
Press „SET“ key to get into set mode.
Use „SAT“ key to select between 4 kinds of DiSEqC switching. The following table
shows the display of these 4 switches and their corresponding DiSEqC commands:

A Tone burst, corresponding to the position command, is sent along with the DiSEqC
commands. Therefore a tone burst switch can work with this receiver as well.
Press „ENT“ key to store the proper DiSEqC switch with each channel in the
memory.

Cautions
To prevent electric shock do not remove covers.
Do not cover the ventilation slots on the toy of the receiver.
Protect the receiver against heat dust, humidity water, and
direct exposure to sunshine.
Do not use any chemical detergents for cleaning.
For servicing, always contact a specialized service shop.
Do not operate it on a soft surface (such as carpet).
Only connect the receiver to the power supply and switch it on
once all the connections have been set up.
In the event of a prolonged absence, pull out the mains
plug to disconnect the receiver from the power mains.
Installation
Install the receiver
Connect to LNB and dish via coaxial cable
Connect TV set to TV Scart socket, or RF modulator*
Connect VCR, or decoder to VCR, or decoder scart socket.
Video level adjust
Adjust for proper picture brightness, by using a small screw driver.
Modulator operation*
The built-in RF modulator provides the satellite programs in TV RF channel. and is
preset at CH.36
It is possible to adjust the CH ADJ screw (R5) and change the modulator channel
between CH.30 to CH.45, if interference from neighboring TV stations arises in
channel 36.
By switching on the TSG switch (R6), a black and white bar test pattern will be dis-
played for easy channel recognition. After the tuning has been completed, TSG
ON/OFF switch (R6) must be switched back to OFF.
