6 General Information
6.1 Warranty
The legal provisions for warranty rights apply as per the German Civil Code.
6.2 Guarantee
The manufacturer provides a 12-month guarantee for the PhalliMax device com-
mencing on the date on which the end customer took possession of the device.
The guarantee does not apply:

to wearing parts and consumables such as electrodes, batteries and connector
cables
»
in case of damage incurred as a result of improper use
»
to defects that were previously known by the customer
»
to personal negligence on the part of the customer.
6.3 Care and cleaning
No special care products or cleaning agents are required for the PhalliMax. The
device and the electrode cables can be cleaned using a soft, lint-free cloth. Please
ensure that no moisture enters the device. If moisture does get inside of the device,
the PhalliMax must be subjected to a safety inspection prior to any further use.
The device can be disinfected using standard disinfection agents, e.g. Meliseptol
rapid. Please follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use for the disinfection
agent you use.
6.4 New settings, changes and repairs
The manufacturer is only responsible for the safety and performance of the device
if new settings, changes and repairs are performed by the manufacturer or by per-
sons authorized by the manufacturer, and the device is used in compliance with
the instructions for use.
6.5 Safety checks (§11 MPBetreibV)

As an operator, you are legally obligated to perform safety checks for this product
every 24 months (in accordance with generally accepted technical standards).
