Important!
Do not affix the electrodes to irritated or diseased areas of skin.
Please turn off the device before changing the position of one or more of the
electrodes.
3.3 Turning on the device
The sliding switch must be in the ON position so that you
can turn on the PhalliMax. Turn on the device using the
-switch. A brief audio signal will indicate that the Phalli-
Max is ready.
The display now shows the most recently used program, frequency and pulse
width, therapy time, intensity and battery charging status. If the locking feature
has been activated, a lock icon will appear next to the program number.
3.4 Selecting the therapy program
The PhalliMax starts by using the therapy program that was last used. To change
to the next program, please press the
-button. If the device is set on Program 3
(P-03), it changes back to Program 1 the next time you press the
-button. Alter-

Note:
If the device is locked, it is not possible to change the set program. Read
the section “Locking the device” to find out more about locking and unlocking
the PhalliMax.
3.5 Starting the simulation
Make sure that you have selected the right program and that the electrodes and
cables have been connected correctly. Start the stimulation with the
-button
of the channel you connected the cable to. The intensity increases by 0.5 mA with
each press of the
-button. If you hold down the - button, the intensity will be
increased until you release the button. You can use the
-button to reduce the
intensity in the same manner.
The currently selected intensity is shown on the display. It can be set within a range
of 0.5–100 mA.
Safe control of the intensity
To avoid any accidental increases in intensity, the intensity is locked by the Phal-
liMax at the level it was last set at if it is not operated for 10 seconds. The display
