Storage
If the lathe chuck is not going to be used for a longer period of
time, it must be stored in a dry and protected place, taking into
account the ambient conditions

2.6, Page 11) . If possible, it
should be stored in the original packaging.
If the lathe chuck is reused after storage, the clamping force must
be checked. If this does not correspond to the nominal clamping
force, the lathe chuck must be disassembled, cleaned and
relubricated.
Disposal
After decommissioning, place the chuck in a position that enables
any liquids in the lathe chuck to drain out.
• Collect the escaping liquids and dispose of them properly in line
with the statutory provisions.
• Remove any identifiable plastic or aluminum parts installed in
or on the chuck and dispose of them properly in line with the
statutory provisions.
• Dispose of the chuck's metal parts as scrap metal.
Alternatively, you can return the chuck to SCHUNK for proper
disposal.
