6 Troubleshooting
6.1 Product does not move
Possible cause Corrective action
Electrical connection incorrect e.g. Phase
rotator. Electrical connection according
specifications e.g. carry out circuit diagram.
Error in the drive controller. See documentation for drive controller.
6.2 Product does not achieve the cycle times
Possible cause Corrective action
Attachments on the product have too much
mass. Check cycle time calculation.
Specifications made by control unit are not
correct. Correct specifications.

6.3 Product gets too hot
Possible cause Corrective action
Temperature sensor not connected
properly. Check electrical connection.
Attachments on the product have too much

6.4 Pneumatic signals are not transmitted?
Possible cause Corrective action
Pressure lines connected incorrectly. Check connection.
Pneumatic rotary feed-through has
exceeded its life span Contact the SCHUNK contact person.
6.5 Electrical signals are not transmitted?
Possible cause Corrective action
Cable connected incorrectly. Check electrical connection.
Bus signals should be transmitted. Bus signals cannot generally be transmitted.
