Fixing the
intermediate sleeve
in the pressure hull

NOTE
In its delivered state, the intermediate sleeve can rotate freely in-
side the pressure hull. If the fixed scanner is used, the intermedi-
ate sleeve must be fixed in the pressure hull.

Rotate the intermediate sleeve until the the notch is offset by
approx. 15° below the Dataman 50S.
Ø
Tighten the M5 set screws at the clamp to secure the inter-
mediate sleeve inside pressure hull.

Only for software version 1.3:
Replace the retaining ring with circlip piers (type Knipex 44 21
J41 , not included in the delivery). Make sure the locking ring
snaps into place!
