2. INTRODUCTION
MAKE SURE TO READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS MA-
NUAL BEFORE OPERATING YOUR ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.
The plasma arc cutting equipment is a power source with IGBT (inverter) technology that promotes the cutting
of metals through an electric rim and compressed air. Plasma is heated to a high temperature, the gas is ionized
and becomes electrically conductive, capable of heating the material to the point of melting and cutting. Allows
the cutting of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
The equipment’s working factor refers to the operating time at maximum current, considering a time interval of
10 minutes. In other words, the SCHULZ models have a 40% working factor, therefore, it is capable of operating
at maximum current for 4 minutes, requiring a 6-minute break to cool the equipment before starting a new job.
