6.1.1 Plasma cutting process
- Connect the air compressor with pressure and fl ow compatible with the equipment’s needs, being 90 PSI and
170 L/min.;
- Adjust the pressure on the gauge attached to the cutting machine to 90 PSI;
- Fix the work clamp (ground) close to the part to be cut;
- Turn on the equipment using the on/off button (10);
- Adjust the potentiometer (3) according to the thickness of the material to be cut and its composition material;
- Position the torch close to the part to be cut and press the start button to make the cut.
ATTENTION: During the cutting process, the torch and workpiece reach high temperatures, always wear suitable
gloves to avoid burns.
