• Protect yourself and other persons, ani-

Prohibited:
manipulation, inappropriate
use, temporary repairs, use of other ener-
gy sources, removal or use of damaged
safety equipment, operating a leaking or
malfunctioning system, use of non-original
spare parts, exceeding the permitted
working pressure specified (max. + 10%),
working without protective equipment,
transporting / maintaining / repairing or
leaving a pressurised machine unattended,
using other / unsuitable lubricants, smok-
ing, naked flames, removing stickers.

Prohibited:
Using explosive or flammable
cleaning agents; disposing of leftover ma-
terials / cleaning agents incorrectly.

Use in medical / food indus-
try; incorrect processing equipment; spark
formation.
2.4 Commissioning
Before start-up:
1. Observe technical data, figures, item
numbers, intended use and safety in-
structions
(see Instruction manual, Part 1, Chap-
ter: "Technical data" and the "Intended
use" chapter).
2. Carry out a visual inspection.
3. Do not use below 5° C.

Always use dry blasting abrasive with an
acceptable grain size such as ground blast
furnace slag.

Caution: the ventilation hole on the vessel
must remain open at all times.
In line with the device type:
Spray guns can be operated with a
blasting abrasive vessel or suction
hose:
1. Turn the blasting abrasive vessel
(item 05) anticlockwise (bayonet cou-
pling) to detach (Fig. 2a).
Blasting with blasting abrasive vessel:
2. Fill with blasting abrasive. Ventilation
point (item 15) must be open (Fig. 2b).
3. Attach blasting abrasive vessel and turn
clockwise to secure.
4. Attach nozzle (item 11), screw on up to
the stop and then unscrew 2 to 3 turns.
(Fig. 3a).
5. Secure the nozzle (item 11) using the
counternut (item 06).
6. Screw on the counternut up to the stop.
(Fig. 3a).
