(Dis-)Assembling the rear wheel
Sram Automatix 2-gear hub:
1. Loosen the hub nuts on both sides and remove the rear wheel. The belt
tension will automatically be loosened, due to the sloping opening of
the slide.
2. You can now take the belt off the rear sprocket.
Assembling works in reverse order.
1. Insert the axle of the rear wheel into the openings of the slide. Then
put pressure onto the rear wheel (with your body weight) to push the
axle into the opening of the slide up to the stop. The belt will then have
its original tension again. Tighten the hub nots on both sides with the
required torque (fig. 12).
Shimano Nexus 8-gear hub:
1. Unhook the cable at the cable drum of the rear hub. Also unhook the
outer cable at the clamp (black metal lever). Loosen the hub nuts on
both sides and move the wheel downwards to remove it from the slide.
2. The belt tension will automatically be loosened, due to the sloping
opening of the slide.
3. You can now take the belt off the rear sprocket.
Assembling works in reverse order:
1. Fit the belt on the front and rear sprocket.
2. Insert the axle of the rear wheel into the openings of the slide. Please
note that the catches of the blue and green torque support elements
have to point downwards (fig. 10).

care and diligence. If you are not completely sure as to
