6.3 Selection of a scenario with the remote control
The trainer has the possibility to select a scenario with the remote control when the device On.
Press on # key, slacken it, then press on the key corresponding to the selected scenario; the
indicator (10) of the remote control lights when a key is pressed.
Notes:
•
When the choice of the scenario is made during the initialization of the device (displaying of the
message “FRED easyport is testing”), this one is immediately taken into account.
• When the choice of the scenario is made after the initialization of the device, this one is taken
into account with the next starting of the device.
In the case of the selection of scenario number 9, the device waits for the remote control's orders
to change it's status. If the device don't receive orders from the remote control, the shock will
always be recommended like in scenario 3.

Key 0 Immediate move to the next step
Key 1
Restart at the analysis step; reset of the counters of time and number of
delivered shocks
Key 2
Shock recommended, during the analysis in progress or during the next
analysis
Key 3
Shock not recommended, during the analysis in progress or during the next
analysis
Key 4
The rhythm has changed. This message appears after a recommendation
of shock
Key 5
Press on the electrodes (bad contact). This message appears during
analysis
Key 6 *
Movements detected. Stop movements. This message appears during
analysis
Key 7
Extinction of the device
Key 8 Resume CPR. This message is immediately taken in account.
Key 9
Pause : the current scenario is interrupted; the display is frozen. Press
again on key 9 to continue the training.
