2 Safety instructions
2.1 Responsibilities of the user
• This device may only be used by qualified persons with appropriate training.
•
Make sure that the user has read and understood the instructions for use and particularly this
"Safety instructions" section.
•
Replace any faulty or missing parts immediately.
• The operator shall comply with the applicable regulations in the area of accident prevention
and safety instructions.
•
The device shall be stored out of the reach of children.
•
Dispose of the packaging material and make sure that it remains out of the reach of children.
2.2 Proper use
•
Always use the device in accordance with its stated technical specifications.
•
Do not use the device in an area with an explosion hazard or in an area with inflammable
gases such as anaesthetic gases.
2.3 Organisational measures
•
This device may only be used after explanations about its working and safety instructions are
given and understood.
•
Keep the instructions for use to hand in the place of use of the device. Make sure that they are
always complete and legible.
•
In addition to the instructions for use, follow the ordinary legal requirements and any other
requirements applicable in the area of accident prevention and environment protection.
2.4 Use in accordance with safety rules
• Read and follow the instructions for use, particularly the safety instructions.
•
Immediately report to the person responsible any change liable to affect safety, including
changes relating to the behaviour of the device in operation.
•
Ensure of the correct operation of the device before each use
• Only connect original SCHILLER accessories to the device.
