• Only have your electric tool repaired by quali-
fied specialists and only with original spare
parts.
This ensures that safety of the electric tool
is maintained.
Safety instructions for bench drill machines
• Never make warning labels on the power tool
concealed.
• Place the power tool on a solid, level surface
and in upright level.
If the power tool can slip or
wobble, the insert tool cannot be guided evenly
and safely.
• Keep the work surface clean except for the
workpiece to be processed.
Sharp-edged drill-
ing chips and objects can cause injuries. Mixtures
of materials are particularly dangerous. Light metal
dust can burn or explode.
• Set the correct speed before starting work. The
speed must be appropriate to the drilling diam-
eter and the material to be drilled.
If the speed
is not correctly set, the insert tool can get caught
in the workpiece.
• Only guide the tool insert against the work-
piece when it switched on.
Otherwise there is a
risk that the insert tool will get caught in the work-
piece and the workpiece will be taken away. This
can result in injuries.
• Do not place your hands in the drilling area
whilst the power tool is running.
There is a risk
of injury from contact with the insert tool.
• Never remove drilling debris from the drilling
area whilst the electrical tool is running.
Al-
ways set the drive unit to the rest position first and
switch off the power tool.
• Do not remove drilling chips with your bare
hands.
There is a particular risk of injury from hot
and sharp-edged metal chips.
• Break long drilling chips by interrupting the
drilling process by turning the rotary wheel
back briefly.
There is a risk of injury from long
drilling chips.
• Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil and
grease.
Greasy, oily handles are slippery and re-
sult in a loss of control.
• Use clamping devices to clamp the workpiece.
Do not process workpieces that are too small
to be clamped.
If you hold the workpiece by hand,
you cannot adequately secure it against twisting
and injure yourself.
•
Immediately switch off the power tool, as soon
as the insert tool is blocked.
The insert tool
blocks, if:
- the power tool is overloaded or
- it is tilted in the workpiece to be processed.
• Do not touch the insert tool after it has been
processed before it has cooled down.
The in-
sert tool gets very hot when working.
• Pull the connector out of the socket
- When the power tool is not in use or prior to
maintenance and when replacing tools such as
saw blades, bits, milling heads.
• Do not leave a tool key inserted
- Before switching on, make sure that keys and
adjusting tools are removed.
• Avoid inadvertent starting
-
Make sure that the switch is switched off when
plugging the plug into an outlet.
• Use extension cables for outdoors
-
Only use approved and appropriately identified
extension cables for use outdoors.
• Remain attentive
- Pay attention to what you are doing. Remain
sensible when working. Do not use the power
tool when you are distracted.
• Check the power tool for potential damage
- Protective devices or other parts with minor
damage must be carefully inspected to ensure
that they function correctly and as intended prior
to continued use of the electric tool.
- Check whether the moving parts function fault-
lessly and do not jam or whether parts are dam-
aged. All parts must be correctly mounted and all
conditions must be fulfilled to ensure fault-free
operation of the electric tool.
- Damaged protective devices and parts must be
properly repaired or replaced by a recognised
specialist workshop, insofar as nothing different
is specified in the user instructions manual.
- Damaged switches must be replaced at a cus-
tomer service workshop.
- Do not use any electric tool on which the switch
cannot be switched on and off.
• ATTENTION!
- The use of other insertion tools and other acces-
sories can entail a danger of injury.
•
Have your power tool repaired by a qualified
electrician
- This electric tool conforms to the applicable
safety regulations. Repairs may only be per-
formed by an electrician using original spare
parts. Otherwise accidents can occur
Warning!

tive or passive medical implants under certain condi-
tions. In order to prevent the risk of serious or deadly
injuries, we recommend that persons with medical
