WARNING: Danger of injury!
Improper installation of the circular table saw may re-
sult in serious injury.
Before commissioning, properly and completely in-
stall the circular table saw, including all covers and
safety devices.
Never plug the mains plug into the power socket be-
fore completing the installation.
If connections are secured with a hexagonal bolt, nut,
spring washer and washer, the washer and spring
washer must be fitted under the hexagonal bolt. The
spring washer always lies directly on the (inner) hex-
agonal bolt or nut.
Hexagon screws must each be inserted from outside
inwards, and the connections must be secured from
the inside with nuts. During assembly nuts and screws
must only be tightened until hand-tight, so that they
cannot fall out. If you tighten the nuts and screws fully
before final assembly, the circular table saw cannot
be erected in a correct and stable manner.
9.1 Assembling the frame (fig. 4-8)
1. Turn circular table saw upside down and place
on the floor.

The four legs (18) are screwed to the housing (fig.
5).
3. Now screw the four centre struts (19a, 19b)
loosely onto the legs (18). Use the coach bolts
(b), the washers (c), the spring washers (d) and
the nuts (e) (fig. 6).
4. Screw on the stands (21) at the holes in the rear
legs (18). Assembly materials: 2 coach bolts (b),
the washers (c), spring washers (d) and nuts (e)
respectively (fig. 7).
ATTENTION:
Both stands must be fastened to
the fastening points (22) on the rear of the ma-
chine (fig. 7).
5. Now tighten all screws for the legs (18)
6. Now plug the rubber feet (20) onto the legs (18)
(fig. 8).
7. Place the circular table saw on the machine
stand (10).
9.2
Fitting/removing the saw blade guard
(fig. 9)
1. Loosen the screw with nut and washer (25) of the
saw blade guard (2). Place the saw blade guard
(2) onto the riving knife (3) from above.
2. Fit the screw with nut and washer (25) such that
the screw sits firmly in the elongated hole.
3. Do not over-tighten the screw (25). The saw
blade guard must remain free to move.
4. Disassembly takes place in reverse order.

WARNING:
Before starting sawing, the saw blade
guard (2) must be lowered onto the material to be
sawn.
After fitting, check that the saw blade guard (2) is
functioning properly. Lift the saw blade guard and
then release it. The saw blade guard should automat-
ically move back to its starting position.
9.3 Mounting / adjusting the Riving Knife (Fig.
9-11)
Caution! Remove the mains plug! The setting of
the saw blade (4) must be checked whenever a
blade has been replaced.
1. Adjust the saw blade (4) to a max. cutting depth,
move to the 0° position and lock in place.
2. Dismantle the saw blade guard (2) (not during in-
itial assembly).
3. Release the two attachment bolts (23) and re-
move the table insert (5).

Loosen the fixing screw (24) (use the open-ended
spanner AF8 supplied).
5. Push the riving knife (3) upwards.
6. The distance between the saw blade (4) and riv-
ing knife (3) should be between 3 mm and max. 5
mm, (Figure. 11)
7. Retighten the attachment bolts (24) and mount the
table insert (5).
8. Mount the saw blade guard (2) with the screw and
knurled nut and flat washer (25).
9,4 Connect the suction device (Fig. 2)
1. Attach a suction hose to the suction adapter (15).
If necessary, secure the suction hose with a hose
clamp to prevent it from slipping off the suction
adapter (15).
2. A household vacuum cleaner is not suitable as
a suction device. Use a multi-purpose vacuum
cleaner or a swarf extraction machine.
10. Handling the equipment
10.1 On/off switch (fig. 3)
• It is possible to switch the saw on by pressing the
green “I” button. Before starting sawing, wait until
the saw blade has reached its maximum speed.
•
In order to switch the saw off again, it is necessary
to press the red “0” button.
10.2 Setting the cutting depth (fig. 1+3)
The saw blade (4) can be adjusted to the required
cutting depth by turning the hand wheel (8).
• Counter-clockwise:
Greater cutting depth
• Clockwise:
Smaller cutting depth
Check the setting with a test cut.
