General information

• 

After unpacking, check all parts for possible transportation dama-

ges. In the event of complaints, inform the supplier immediately. 

Any complaints made after this time will not be accepted.

• 

The shipment is to be checked for completeness upon receipt.

• 

Read through the manual carefully in order to make yourself fami-

liar in dealing with the device before using it for the first time.

• 

Only use original equipment regarding accessories, as well as 

consumable items and spare parts. Spare parts can be obtained 

from your specialized dealer. When ordering, please specify our 

part numbers, as well as type and construction year of the device.

NOTE:

According to the applicable product liability laws, the manufacturer 

of the device does not assume liability for damages to the product or 

damages caused by the product that occurs due to:

• 

Improper handling,

• 

Non-compliance of the operating instructions,

• 

Repairs by third parties, not by authorized service technicians,

• 

Installation and replacement of non-original spare parts,

• 

Application other than specified,

• 

A breakdown of the electrical system that occurs due to the non-

compliance of the electric regulations and VDE regulations 0100, 

DIN 57113 / VDE0113.

We recommend:

Read through the complete text in the operating instructions before 

installing and commissioning the device. The operating instructions 

are intended to help the user to become familiar with the machine 

and take advantage of its application possibilities in accordance with 

the recommendations. The operating instructions contain important 

information on how to operate the machine safely, professionally and 

economically, how to avoid danger, costly repairs, reduce downtimes 

and how to increase reliability and service life of the machine.

In addition to the safety regulations in the operating instructions, you 

have to meet the applicable regulations that apply for the operation of 

the machine in your country. Keep the operating instructions package 

with the machine at all times and store it in a plastic cover to protect it 

from dirt and moisture. Read the instruction manual each time before 

operating the machine and carefully follow its information. The machi-

ne can only be operated by persons who were instructed concerning 

the operation of the machine and who are informed about the associa-

ted dangers. The minimum age requirement must be complied with.

General safety notes 

Keep the battery charger away from rain or

moisture.

 Penetration of water in the battery 

charger increases the risk of an electric shock.

Only charge scheppach lithium ion 

batteries or batteries installed in 

scheppach products with the voltages 

listed in the technical data.

 Otherwise 

there is danger of fire and explosion.

• 

Keep the battery charger clean.

 Conta-

mination can lead to danger of an electric 

shock.

• 

Before each use, check the battery 

charger, cable and plug. If damage is 

detected, do not use the battery char-

ger. Never open the battery charger 

yourself. Have repairs performed only 

by a qualified technician and only 

using original spare parts.

 Damaged 

battery chargers, cables and plugs incre-

ase the risk of an electric shock.

Do not operate the battery charger on 

easily inflammable

• 

surfaces (e. g., paper, textiles, etc.) or 

surroundings.

 The heating of the battery 

charger during the charging process can 

pose a fire hazard.

• 

In case of damage and improper use 

of the battery, vapours may be emitted. 

Provide for fresh air and seek medical 

help in case of complaints.

 The vapours 

can irritate the respiratory system.

• 

Supervise children.

 This will ensure that 

children do not play with the charger.

• 

Children or persons that owing to their 

physical, sensory or mental limita-

tions or to their lack of experience or 

knowledge, are not capable of secure-

ly operating the charger, may only use 

this charger under supervision or after 

having been instructed by a respon-

sible person.

 Otherwise, there is danger 

of operating errors and injuries.
