You can transfer data to and from any Pro 106/197/651/652/PSR 500/600 using a cable which has a 1/8-inch 

stereo

 phone plug on both

ends. Both working memory and 'Global Settings' are transferred.

 

Turn on both radios.
Connect the cable to each scanner's PC/IF jack.
On the sending radio press
