5 Press the Start button. Y ou will see a message appear Connecting to the USB Flash Drive
and receiv e an audible beep when the transf er of data is completed.
Note : This method exports all data stored in the memory of the SBS-2510 into a single file that
can be accessed via Microsoft Excel.
6.1.2 Bluetooth export of results to SBS-6500 battery resistance tester
1 Insert the supplied Bluetooth dongle into the USB port of the SBS-2510.
2 Press the Results button on the main screen of the unit.
3 Press the Report button on the Results screen of the unit.
4 Under report options, Select SBS-6500 using the Nav igation Joy stick s o print option is
selected to SBS-6500 and press the OK button.
5 Press the Start button. Y ou will see a message appear Connecting to Bluetooth Dongle
and receiv e an audible beep when the connection is established.
6 Y ou will see a message Initializing Bluetooth Dongle appear and then the screen will
adv ance to Waiting for SBS-6500
7 Press the SG Upload button of the SBS-6500 unit and f ollow the procedure f or importing
specif ic grav ity readings and sav ing them in the correct battery string location. (Guidance on
the operation of the SBS-6500 unit is in its own operating manual.) Below is a link f or the f ull

Note : All readings stored in the memory are transferred at the same time.
7 Maintenance
In this chapter y ou f ind descriptions of the maintenance tasks y ou should perf orm on y our SBS-
2510. Any other maintenance tasks need to be perf ormed by a serv ice technician that has been
qualif ied by Storage Battery Sy stems, LLC .
If y ou experience problems with y our SBS-2510, contact y our authorized Storage Battery Sy stems,
LLC Sales or serv ice representativ e.
SBS recommends that a prev entiv e maintenance and calibration certif ication is done at least once
a y ear through y our authorized SBS sales or serv ice representativ e.
