5.4.2 Prepare the measuring cell for the next sample
At the end of this phase, the residue in the measuring cell must be soluble in the next sample. The
solubility of the sample def ines if y ou can drain the measuring cell or if y ou need to rinse it.
Drain
If the next sample dissolv es the sample y ou just measured, y ou can drain the cell.
Rinse
If the next sample does not dissolv e the sample y ou just measured, y ou hav e to rinse the measuring
cell with a cleaning solution. The cleaning solution must dissolv e the sample that y ou just measured
and the next sample. When y ou rinse the measuring cell, the cleaning solution remov es the residue
f rom the original sample.

5.5.1 Configure the method

The density unit is set to [g/cm 3 ].

Confirmation of results in Settings is activ ated.

The home screen is open.
1 Mov e the nav igation joy stick to the lef t.

The Methods window opens.
2 Press the New key .

The Method settings window opens.
3 Nav igate to Method ID and enter a name with up to 25 characters.
4 Press the OK key .

The method is listed in the Methods window.
5 Change the parameter settings to the v alues shown in the f ollowing table.
