Step 3
Install rail assembly
Install the rail assembly.
Procedure

Refer to the plan drawings provided with the lift
(
drawings are specific for each job
) and take note of
the dimensions and rail configuration.

The following diagrams illustrate some of the typical
mounting configurations for the rail. The brackets
between the upper and lower rails can be mounted on
posts or the wall.

Refer to the measurements on the plan drawings and
place the first tube section of rail against the wall at the
location specified on the plan drawings.
NOTE
Always double-check the mounting location per the plan
drawings
BEFORE DRILLING
any holes.

Temporarily anchor the first tube section of rail to the
wall through the rail brackets using the appropriate
mounting hardware (not provided). Use shims and
spacers as required. Use a level to make sure the rail
brackets between the upper and lower tubes of the
railway are plumb.

Connect the second tube section of rail to the first tube
section using the hardware provided.
a. If necessary, lightly grease each section at the joint
before joining.
b. Secure the rail sections together using the splice
bolts and nuts provided (see below).
c. Check each splice to ensure a clean tight fit and no
damage.

brackets between the upper and lower tubes of the
railway are plumb.

Repeat the steps above for each tube section until the
railway is complete. Use the appropriate mounting
hardware (not provided). Use shims and spacers as
required.
