OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
For Electronic Polarity Reversing Control Units
WORKHOLDING AND AUTOMATION
- After the incoming signals, the machine release is given depending on inductivity and
current flow of the chuck and number of +/- connections.
- Signal lamps and switches for machine controlling have to correspond with the safety
regulations.
- The maximum power for signal-lamps is 1.2 Watt.
- The connection of coding-switch for step-regulation of holding-force has to be done
according to the following sketch. Please notice that the regulator for holding forces has to
provide an inverted BCD-coding.
- If the Pendant control box SAV 876.02-SE3 is connected, terminal 9 has to be
disconnected.
- Check chuck-, mains- and signal-voltage.
For connection of electronic control unit, please refer to the separate operating
instructions for magnetic chuck or collector rings and carbon brushes for circular
chucks.
To comply with Europeans standards, a mains filter must be installed in the power supply:
